A bit more fruit, less dry than expected. Almost perfect for that American style. Defenetily a great bordeaux educator and transition wine into bigger boys.

Plum, raspberry tea, cassis, menthol, leather, espresso grounds, clay, cedar, dark chocolate. Rounded acid/chewy smooth velvet tannins, full bodied, lush juicy texture, long red fruit-smoky-earthy bitter finish. Muted aromatics, flavors come out in palate. Texture driven, extremely food friendly, big & smooth.

This was so good, I stopped eating the steak and just sat in with the wine. Went back for dinner the next night at the Kent restaurant just to sample again.
