Just alright. Tasty, but feels tired.

On one hand, 2002 is such a weird vintage. This is showing secondary clove/bitter chocolate notes on the palate, but the nose is gorgeous fresh Franc florals & spicy red plums. I do think a non-Parkerized choice like this one is a best bet for most 2002 bottles.

Cinnamon, nutmeg on the nose - slight earthiness but not typical of what I would expect from others in St Emillion at this price point...some vegetation with a short finish...wouldn't buy again, past its prime.

2010 vintage. Needs time to open in the glass. Grippy tannins, great acidity to go with those black fruits.

A perky adolescent with the first stirrings of maturity. Nothing too promising in store, will likely turn into a very capable dev or financier.
