On one hand, 2002 is such a weird vintage. This is showing secondary clove/bitter chocolate notes on the palate, but the nose is gorgeous fresh Franc florals & spicy red plums. I do think a non-Parkerized choice like this one is a best bet for most 2002 bottles.

Dec 30th, 20152010 vintage. Needs time to open in the glass. Grippy tannins, great acidity to go with those black fruits.
