Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend

Second label that would be a crowd pleaser.

Doing a little Cali/BDX comparison and this is definitely holding its own. Wonderfully earthy, fine tannins, baked cherry and raspberry fruit, some fun floral stuff, silky.......Lucky day!

Very attractively color. A classic nose with a great combination of primary and secondary notes. The palate was balanced with some structure. Not the best Gruaud-L. I had, but still a very nice, structured wine, reaching its maturity

Fantastiskt vin! Cederträ, tobak, rostade fat, bra komplexitet lång finish. Välbalanserat.

Needs an hour open. Still has good fruit but balanced, delicate and not too heavy. Versatile and plays well with a variety of dishes which made it perfect for dinner with the family.

2006 plenty of body better after a little breather not the big noise I have noted before with Gruaud Larose but good complex Bordeaux I acknowledge St Julian has its critics but this good wine
