Smells French, tastes French, is French! Nicely balanced and complex red Bordeaux with a gentle perfume of fruit and flowers,, subdued tannins and Gallic earth and minerals. Enjoyed the 2012 vintage with prime ribeye at The Palm Restaurant in downtown LA for my caricature dinner—a memorable evening!

Ripe dark fruit with a an earthy funk out of the bottle, opened up with a little time in the glass. Drinkable and good at $22 for a same-night medic Bordeaux. Getting a bit passed its prime. Enjoyed with prime rib tomahawk steak with neighbors.

Raspberry nose with a hint of barnyard funk. On the palate black tea, tart cherry, cocoa and oak give way to acid that builds through the finish with lingering tobacco notes. A nicely balanced wine with a bold flavor profile and light mouthfeel.
