Incredibly powerful Merlot with massive tannins, intense earth and sexy creme de cassis character. Smoke, plum, blueberry, black currant, espresso, chocolate, tobacco. Very ripe style- quite extracted and still showing the tannic grip of youth. Given some more maturity and oak integration this could very well be a stunner.

The 2015 has turned out beautifully and is a great example of modern Saint-Émilion at its best. The blend is 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Simply stunning. Ive tasted a lot of bordeaux. This is exceptional. It drinks way above its price. Changed dramatically over the course of a few hours. From earthy to flashy and then finally a dusty dark and astringent character. This was stupid good w short ribs with mashed and a ny strip with bleu cheese and brussels.
