2014 metallic taste in the middle otherwise ok. We drank it but didn’t love it.

Label has the requisite chateau drawing. Pretty color. Deep maroon center and rosy on edges. Smells of stewed plums, graphite pencil lead. Bit of elderberry too? Flavors are tongue coating and tart. Black berries meet black strap molasses. Stem-y. Definitely a Frenchie. And a good one at that.

Had this again. Not as good when it’s in another context. Less to offer I guess. Chewy and ripe. Hint of smoke. It’s fine, but not as good as I thought.

Standard art for Bordeaux. Merlot driven blend. Hint of cab franc too. Color is lighter. Translucent. Smells meaty. Blood and soils meets red berries and sweet black cherries. Hint of flint. Simple flavors. Fairly elegant and silky. Bit of bite. It’s just not very dynamic. Plain. Decent price though.

Initial berries then a mild middle then a classic dusty finish

Medium ruby in color; cherries, dried herbs, and raspberries on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like pomegranates, tart cherries, and wet gravel with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it. She says it's too acidic. I love the acidity and the tart fruit flavors.

This wine has intense color, ruby reflections. Black fruit, blackberry, black currant, blueberry aromas with toasted notes.
