I celebrated another year on this planet earlier this week, always glad when I am continuing to count days gone by! Some fun stuff in the works for tonight.

Dusty cherry, graphite, minimal wood influence.

A nice easy drinking Bordeaux table wine. Lots of dark berry and cassis fruit, medium bodied with light tannins and a short finish. A tasty, good value every day drinker.

Had the 2006 vintage. Very smooth and elegant, no bite from the tannins. Aged exceptionally well.

At a great place - could even still age another 3-5. Perfectly balanced with tertiary notes and live fruit.

Dry, med acidity and big grippy tannins. Sweet blackberry, strawberry, herbaciously green. Finish of soft anise/black licorice and lingering tannins and blackberry.

2006 was okay. Not fruit forward slightly dry and flat short finish. Better second day.

Classic surprisingly well developed complex pomerol that will only get better with time but it's already absolutely wonderful. You can drink this one now without feeling bad for not waiting, with its complex balanced notes and tannins, and delightful long finish.

A very nice, bold peppery Bordeaux blend. First class airfare from your glass to Bordeaux. No checked baggage required. Best part is this is an easy drinking accessible big French red - drops all pretensions and just delivers a solid glass. As Eddy Money would sing: I think I'm love...

I am reading bad reviews and disagreeing with them. Berries, licorice , earthy and smooth rose. Layered nicely
