The legend of Right Bank 2015s continues: What a great #lalandedepomerol wine to drink with friends you haven’t seen in a while over ribeye steaks. I opened it a 1/2 hour early and then we decanted another 30 minutes. After it came alive in the glass we enjoyed wafts of bramble berry - nice weight on the palette, some mineral and wood layers, lovely soft tannins and the right amount of acidity in the backbone. It paired perfectly with Montreal seasoning marinated ribeyes which brought out a bit of spice at the finish. This a fantastic value at Total Wine for $27.
