Canon-Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend

This is in a good place. Tannins have resolved, and showing fine sediment. More focused tobacco, cocoa, more Indian spice than baking spice, and a sturdy reserve of smoky fruit.

More immediate, warm and complete than the 2010. Black and red fruits, licorice, and baking spices. Opulent, perhaps monolithic. Lacks the soul and terroir of Vieille Cure.

Fancy smooth vintage red blend

Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby color with a bright red rim. Aromas of ripe red fruit, new oak, smoke and a hint of mint. More dark fruit on the palate with hints of grilled toast, tobacco, dark chocolate and baking spices. Quite earthy/stony on the extremely long finish. Nicely layered and well balanced. Great right bank value find. Get in magnum if possible.

Merlot dominant, nice

Hints of berries and dark fruits on the nose. Still a little tannic on the palate and through the finish. Nice but needs more time.
