Saint Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Lovely sweet red fruits with barrel aging done right. Just a very balanced Bordeaux, mature enough tannins. In the background are left over Alfahores, brought over by my mother in law from Buenos Aires. Another true to type, non flashy import from Steep Hill.

1. Appropriate weight. Full Bordeaux. Heft.
2. Girthy and Tannic. Tart. Choclately
3. 🤲🏻
4. 2 bananas
5. Nice and dry. - a real wine person
6. Picked for last place in dodgeball but out performed.

Christmas day wine with duck. Really enjoyed it.

Needs to breathe at least 30 minutes, very rewarding, typical Saint Emillion character...

Lovely full bodied red with dark fruit and velvet notes. Great with slow roasted venison. Dinner with Chas and Tash.

Really tight when you first open the bottle. It needs at least a hour to breathe. Fruit-forward St Émilion with nice dark fruit and slightly floral bouquet. Long tannic finish - a good steak wine, could be better at this price.
