$45 Medium Nose. Notes of black fruit, incense, sandalwood, baking spice and vanilla on the nose. Full body. Dry. Low acid. Low alcohol. Medium tannins. This is a well balanced red. There are notes of blackberry, wet gravel, and black pepper on the palate. It's a little savory. I also taste forest mushrooms, spil and wet leaves. This wine is easy to drink with a mellow flavor. There is very little acidity. It almost tastes like a soda that's gone flat. This allows the tannins to shine through and the warm notes of spice and savory flavors to cover the tongue. Enjoyable!
