A little sweet to finish dinner. Ch Filhot 2005 Sauternes. Honeyed apricot, a little "plastic" on the nose but expected. The finish is a bit short and the palate a bit light. A tiny bit of spice on the finish, coupled with some vanilla.

Light pear and apricot. Some honey. Slight spice on finish. Smooth Sauternes. Medium-length finish. Very pleasant. Well aged. In-laws decided to open for cooking wine. Fortunately they decided it was too sweet for that and put it in fridge. So I ended up drinking it with father-in-laws Mediterranean tilapia. Kind of worked.

Ultra ripe banana, melon and pear with honey on the pallet. Lacks a bit of the acidity but still nice when combined with a torchon de fois.

Avevo preso 2 bottiglie e ho aperto la seconda, miele dolce, suadente, profumato, avvolge la bocca e l' accarezza. arancia, agrumi canditi, agrodolce che stuzziaca la lingua. nocciole frutta secca, fine elegamte e morbido, avvolgente e intrigante. I sauternes hanno una marcia in più !
