A very nice Bordeaux. Elements of cherry cola, plum, cassis, dried dark fruit, semi-dry. Trying it against a 2012 that has a different merlot lead combination.

For this price a lovely bottle. Well rounded but still complex and develops well after some breathing. not verg obstrusive but leaves you with a content feeling. would definitely buy again.

8.8. Middle of the road. Opened somewhat with aerating. Paired well with spicy Italian dish.

Very subtle, very smooth. Had it with a filet and the wine was overpowered by the meat. Still enjoyed it though, and it's excellent considering the price.

Had it with beef stew. Nice dry finish. Pine tar on the nose a good balance of complexity and depth
