This Bordeaux had a high alcohol bouquet with a typical dark fruit smell. Tannins were immature and acidity was higher than expected. Color was a consistent ruby to dark ruby color. It complemented red meat well but was more astringent than expected. Needs to age longer, probably 2-4 years more. Definitely decant if drinking now and let sit an hour or more after decanting.

Incredibly complex, rich aroma. Velvety and smooth on the tongue. Almost no linger or aftertaste though.
