Haut-Médoc Merlot Blend

2016 vintage. Mainly Merlot (70%) with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Not very concentrated for a 2016, but a nice, simple drink. Ab. 14,5%.

Bought this straight from the Chateau and carried all the way back in 2015. Now six years later, we are opening it!
Jammy, notes of cherry with a very light finish. Smooth, and slightly dry.

Medium bodied, light tannins, no peppery or spiciness, does not keep well, aerate and drink!

Bel équilibre tout en souplesse, vanille au nez et tourbe en finale.
