Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Sur Lie Melon de Bourgogne

Purchased at the Wine Cellar in High Street. Delicious, fruity Muscadet. I'm smelling and tasting semi ripe pear. Excellent with the Marechal cheese procured from nearby Paddy's. Will be a repeat offender.

(2013) Clean, fresh, mid weight Muscadet. Pear, white flowers, hint salty tang.

Light bodied, sl. spritz, very easy to drink, lacks some complexity.

Great with oysters

A light minerality with some pear overtones and a fermented honey esque finish. Fantastic recommendation by @Marko Palyniak and a definite addition to the white rotation.

Tried at timber creek - wine for oysters

Amazing like a nice Pinot Grigio.

A really nice Muscadet made even better by a selection of great cheese at Parisian cafe.
