Medium full palate -- with a bit of tingle (au naturel) -- of black plum, smokey leather, and terra cotta. Medium plus tannins as befits the Appellation; medium acidity. Mid-length darkish finish. A traditional southwest France meal would positively sing with this old style, Old World offering.
