Blew the Pontet-Canet out. Drinking wonderful. Out of a magnum.

Tobacco, leather, vanilla, some sour cherry.. heavy type wine with tannins..

Deep ruby color.
Aromas of dark fruit, spice.
Dry. Flavors of cassis, licorice, spice, blackberry leaf. Rich, firm tannins. Great acidity.

Medium deep ruby , quite narrow ruby rim . Quite juicy blackberry and blackcurrant , touch spicy oak , quite generous. On the palate more of the ripe dark fruits , touch of dark chocolate. Touch of warmth from the alcohol but balanced acidity . Rounded but present tannins , ok length . Quite enjoyable and fruit forward Margaux , slightly one dimensional but quite fun to drink now and over the next 5 to 10 years .

Light and smooth. Right with dark fruit.
