Rich and complex côtes du Rhône. Tangy dark fruit. This is wonderful. Toothsome, too.

I usually love this wine but this bottle is a bit disappointing. Perhaps retail storage may have been an issue as the fruit is a slightly stewed. However there's a nice, fairly rich body and supple tannins.

Blanc. Well made, but frankly, not my shit. Interested in tasting old Rhone blanc, not this young and cantankerous wine. Makes me appreciate early drinking Rhone single varietal whites. Longing for that 12 Cuilleron Marsanne.
