Beautiful wine. Very accessible now and will develop beautifully over the next 10 years. Great earthiness and tannic structure. Moderately long finish. Lovely rich nose. A great buy.

Tremendous Value From Bordeaux! A rich wine, full bodied and complex, with nice acidity that contributes to a long and satisfying finish. Tannic, but well developed after 9 years. The nose and palate match, with black fruit, leather, tobacco, and black pepper. It developed a funky-mushroom-barnyard character as it sat out in the glass, so small pours worked well for me. But, if that’s your thing, a decant might be a good idea.
