I dunno about this.
The oak monster reared its ugly mush. Time may help to smooth out its fault lines.

violets & dark berries on the nose ~ starts rich & sumptuous, then plummy w a pop of currants, followed by a velvety & nearly minty tannic finish

Nice but tight. Foie gras and steak “pairing”… dinner at Blue Ribbon, so it hit some spots!

Red currant, bramble, red licorice and barnyard.
