Yellow delicious apple and white peach. Very honeyed as well. This is exactly how I like my morning granola. It's been twenty years since I've been to Hungary. This is a great reminder that I've got to get back.

my second ever tokaj.


10% ABV

true pale gold 👀

oak, ripe and canned fruit with a small piece of candied ginger and a couple of caramel coated nuts👃

full body.
high acidity.

slightly syrupy fruit compote with carefully added spices👄

long pleasent 🎯

not my style and not the best of the style, but more then decent.

for the sake of science paired it with simple supermarket blue cheese and they got along ok.
it suited chocolate fudge much better.

24hr later: felt deeper and more caramelised. texture got a bit oily. at first it only got better but then hinted bitterness surfaced.
saved a few sips to try tommorow.

48hr later: felt sweeter, maybe because i ate some 🧀 before (including feta style one).
still oily, bitterness there but more toned down.

i believe a few more years would have taken it to a better, rounder place.
