Wow. The 10 rating is for how incredible this is considering it’s 58 yeard old. Incredible amount of fruit still present with a great flavor profile. Unbelievable. (Ignoring the quality/age ratio, it’s probably a 9.1-9.2, but easily hits 10 when other factors are considered!)

What a treat! Spent an evening with my good friend Tim in New Canaan and we pulled this legend from his cellar. Perhaps a couple of years past is prime, this Grand Cru drank beautifully for a 54 year old wine. Very earthy and well balanced.
