Château de Ville George
Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Acquired in 1973 by Lucien Lurton, today the Château de Villegeorge belongs to his daughter, Marie-Laure, Oenologist, working at domain since 1986. Rich berry aromas with floral and spices, very pleasant. On the palate blueberry and wild berry flavors with licorice and toasty oak notes. Lingering rich finish on soft juicy tannins, drinking well and still has room to go. Very Nice.

Aug 21st, 2019The wines was perfect! It aged so well and showed richness of aromas such as tosted, vanilla, ‘sous bois’, mushrooms, dried berries and figs, and a hint of eucalyptus
The tannins are so velvet, the acidity is refreshing yet and the finish is delicious!

Toujours eu des hauts et des bas avec Villegeorges, cette bouteille était à point, bel équilibre, tannins bien fondu, finale un peu asséchante.
