Deep dark impenetrable burgundy color. Classic aroma profile featuring pretty dried cherries and cloves. A bit of raspberry and a touch of plums and dates. Give this plenty of time to decant and blossom you’ll be rewarded with some subtle hints of vanilla and blue flowers. This really does respond well to proper decanting, two hours or so. Wonderful complexity here and a nice subtlety.

As you can imagine, this is not a bruiser of a wine but rather a precise Pinot with a good bit of character now but it still waiting to reveal itself. With all that said it is quite approachable at this stage with a roundness. Nice rusticity on the palate reminiscent of freshly manicured lawn, an abundance of oak, and more delightful red berries. This is so nice now but has plenty of years left. Drink one now and hold the rest.
