Bandol Bourboulenc Blend

2013 Chateau Pibarnon Blanc. Fuller bodied white wine with good acidity, lemon zest and pie crust notes.

First time having the Blanc and thought it was really very pretty with nice delicacy throughout. Good stuff.

Tannic with a hint of cheese at Bandaloop in Kennebunkport

Rich and complex. Lots of woody, nutty flavors. Mild acidity, nice finish.

Decided to open the bottle on the left. Both bottles were stored together for years. I drank the other four long ago. But the one on the left clearly oxidised. So I kept it as an experiment. It’s odd. A bit like a sherry. Actually not terrible, but just not very good. Unfair to rate it.
