Really a nice Cabernet franc from Saumur Champigny. Not quite as green peppery as I expected, and certainly no overly fruity or simple bistro wine (not that there’s anything wrong with those). Deep red in the glass, very well balanced with good earthy red fruit and a nice finish with good acid. Perfect with aggressively seasoned chicken.

Received through a Dry Farm Wines shipment. Delicious. Good structure and length with a mellow body. This is an easy-drinking couch wine for me. Would buy again.
