Raspberry jam smeared on top of melted mozzarella cheese. Savory and sweet.

Not the fruitiest of GSM's. You might think it's French. Oh yeah, it is.

Light-bodied, easy drinking, jammy with something earthy behind it. And under $10! (TW)

$10 bottle. Seems drinkable.. very light, if I closed my eyes I might guess it was a white.

I have had this wine in past vintages and been highly unimpressed. This although... olfactory reminds me of a walk through the redwoods, mingling with the almost ripe blackberry thickets. A fog blanket envelops the fruit, just slightly damping down the future poetry.
On the palate, Fresh, wet Rye, dark, Black Sabbath raspberry. Polished off by pomegranate soaked Popsicle sticks. Complex, and really neat. Can't believe the cost. Will stock up. Everything I love about the southern Rhone. So good, I will have to work off this bottle in the am!
