Ass slappin' southern rhone. Heady nose of roasted fruits and spice. Big and ripe yet all kinds of structure to finish. I'd like to try this two or three years from now.

Chunky, young Grenache tannins. The fruit hiding in the corner. Could use some time for sure. Will never raise to the heights of the best wines of this, my favorite AOC. Disappointing especially given the vintage.

Paired nicely with a flatiron steak at Arlequin. Certainly wouldn't run out to buy more but did the job.
