Lirac Red Rhone Blend

Vintage 2014 This #Lirac is made of #grenache #syrah #cinsault. it has a nice perfume from elegant raspberries and morello cherries. Very seductive. And a smooth taste. Great ‘little’. #Rhone wine!

I’ve loved this wine for 6-7 years, since I first tasted it at Montfaucon in France, lovely redfruits and quite complex for a Lirac (CdRV), longish finish, really a lovely wine!!

Starts with blueberries before it breathes, then transitions to red raspberry with some leather. Maybe a hint of smoke. Nicely balanced, worked great with beef stew.

Spice, leather, and ripe berry on the nose. Wonderfully balanced with low tannins, and a gorgeous purple color. Quite a splendid little wine.
