Solid Monday night Bordeaux. Mulled, dark berries, underbrush, a bit of cigar box. Nice balance in the mouth. Soft tannin, decent acids. Flavors are a bit leafy for me, but it’s gulpable.

Aug 8th, 2023Terrific value in a dirt-cheap, organic — and this is important — terroir-driven Bordeaux. Nose has ripe plums and cherries, along with warm gravelly/bricky scents. Full-bodied. Flavors on the more minerally side with a core of drying cherryish fruit. Zippo in the oak department. Drink now.

Okay, this wine is one of the best Rimmerman deals I have ever had. The fruit is cool and pure, no oak intrusion. The Graves comes thru here and although not super complex.. just gorgeous.. Wish I had ordered 3 cases of this .
