From a mag. Want cherry fruit and vanilla, mint, tannin, dark color and elegant body. Aged well but not mind blowing.

30 years old. Of course it shows a bit its age, of course there is an orange rim in the glass, of course the nose is mostly tertiary aromas (wet forest soil, mushroom, earth, leather...) but there is still plenty of life in there! There is still fruit (strawberry) and some dried, fading rose petal scent too. The secondary are still here too with tobacco and a bit of cedar. The palate is still well designed by a wonderful acid backbone with a rather wide and long drive that lasts a very long while. Some strawberry, red forest berries, some good grip, some dusty tannins that integrated fully now and the fresh finish which lasts with notes of rose, fruit and a bit of mint. Not the best I've had but a nice tasting experience with the family.

No denying it's Bordeaux by the nose (in a good way). Good depth and texture. Paired very well with grilled lamb. SS

All in roundness, on notes of caramel, undergrowth, musk, and cook and roasted. It will win again with a few years in the cellar

Tout en rondeur, sur des notes de caramel, sous-bois, musk, et cuire et torréfiées. Il gagnera encore avec quelques années en cave
