Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Not impressed. Thin and weak, especially considering 2015 was a great vintage.

Lean tart red fruits. Mild spice. Almost no oak detection. Uninspiring.

7/2022. Nice flavor that lingers on the palate.

Primarily Merlot (includes 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) Red Bordeaux Blend. Much better than the 2015 Vintage. Ripe black fruit and plum aromas and flavors. Hints of balsamic vinegar with just a touch of barnyard funk. Full bodied, rich and complex. The tannins, however, are incredibly soft. Great QPR for a Grand Cru Bordeaux Blend. Revisited in October 2022. Improving with age.

Very big on the oak along with very Ripe plum flavors. Hints of balsamic vinegar and barnyard funk. Medium body. Interesting, but I was expecting more.

Good Bordeaux. Clean taste good finish. 9/18
