Beaujolais-Villages Gamay

Dark ruby color. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, violets as well as the carbonic style of vinification. Dark cherry, raspberry and plum on the palate with notes of woody stems, black pepper and vanilla. Medium earthy finish, high acidity and well balanced tannins. A very fruity Beaujolais and benefits from 20 minutes to breathe before drinking. Not got the complexity or depth you’d expect from a 5 star Beaujolais, but when paired with a seared Tuna this uncomplicated easy drinker was want I wanted

Good red for turkey!

Easy wine to drink for the evening. Not too full bodied. Just right for a relaxing night with conversation. Or great with meat or a tomato sauce pasta.
