95/5 mourvèdre/grenache. inviting aromas. dried black currants, fresh blackberry, plum, 5 spice, bay leaf. medium weight, tannins start early and are firm, slightly grippy. I like this a lot. 2014!enjoyed 1/2018

Licorice and deep plum tannic. Need to try this again.

Needs time to open. Although I’d stick with D. Tempier, this is pretty darn good.

Blackberry, black cherry, black licorice, black pepper, Black Forest ham... be still my black black heart. Next time some chucklehead insists we'll all be having Zin with our burgers in the dead of f'ing winter, well - that'll just be too bad for him then, innit? Dusty, well-integrated tannins balance this Mourvèdre-based mastodon. Meet ze Monstre!
