Zippy minerality and a dose of chalk. As the label suggests, this would be great with oysters.

Crisp, tart, green apple and lime rind. Sur lie shows only in its soft core, perimeter is all racy.

Label says Folle Blanc rather than Melon de Bourgogne. Related grapes it seems. Anyway, nice crisp white with flinty backbone and sour apple notes. A bit generic dry white though. But at $11 not a bad option and a welcome change from Pinot Grigio .
