2015 vintage. Co-owned by Hubert de Boüard (Angélus) and Dominique Hebrard (ex-Cheval Blanc). 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Attractive nose with truffle, red fruit and spices. Fresh and elegant, with perfectly integrated oak, a nice ripe tannic bite and good walnutty length. Terrific value at 12 euros. "Les Cerisiers" is a 5 hectares parcel that produces finer wines than the regular bottling.

Vintage 2015 / This is a benchmark for Bordeaux from more unknown AOC’s, ‘petit Bordeaux’. Deep dark color, 4/5 transparant with starting of a brown rim. Purple reflection. Classic Bordeaux smell with laurel, plums, even some pencil shape. A restraint smell at this moment. Some tannins in taste, needs a decanter or air in the glass. With food it’s already delicious. That is if you like a bit stubbornness as I do. Very good effort. / Paired with tenderloin and snow peas.

Exceptionally well balanced, but simple. Lovely fruit. Black raspberry and a whisper of minerality.

Great intensity and a well balanced linear acidity that expands and freshens the pallet start to finish. Also the result of 4+ hours decanting. Loving this!
