Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

Classic French Bordeaux, subtle nose of red fruit. Subtle red fruit on the fore palate with smooth long bone dry on the finish. Does not over power the food. Drinking a Napa cab at the same meal for comparison. (Grilled steak, tater tots, asparagus/ snow pea blend. First dinner in the lanai 2023, wonderful!!)

Nice drinkable Bordeaux blend on opening. Not much nose - the closest I can come to describing is a cross between a plum and a fig. Musky wet bark with minimal dark fruit and tannic with prominent minerals on the palate. Finish is long and very dry with with emphasis on bark and earth. Probably best with a dense stew.

Bitter and tart. Sara Puckered.

Dark fruits and slightly dry. Pairs well with cheese and creamy pastas. Much better when decanted, as it opens up a lot.

delicious, full bodied Bordeaux. dark cherries, blackberry, oak, vanilla. another great value from K&L

Also kind of mineral but could be good with oysters
