Not much to the nose. Golden color with strong density. Almond and nutty characteristics reminiscent of Orvieto. Smooth texture, almost flat. Palate shows long sinking structure with chalky minerality and some tropical notes. Dry throughout. Expected more. I would not have thought this was Bordeaux. Opened 7/17/15
