Wine 3/3 we put up against homemade pizza night. The blend on this wine was listed as 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Much more complete of a wine than the one before it in the evening. Clean and composed, this wine struck a balance of its blend and benefitted from its barrel program. At a great spot with perfectly tuned levels of earth, fruit, and minerality all working together.

Really strong green pepper nose, nice. On the palate, medium tannins, green pepper on the palate. Some brightness and acidity too, good with smoky.
