Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Fruitier than I expect from Bordeaux. Solid. Better after opened up for a while.

Once it opened up, was pretty good!

Full bodied, solidly tertiary notes of bramble, fig, leather, stewed plums, liquorice, chocolate and bacon. Drink now for this vintage.

Fruity for a French wine, but damn. The finish.

For such a reasonable price (relative) this is scrumptious. Perfect to drink now I would say. Can you imagine if I had the patience to wait for another five years....

Deep ruby hue. Black cherry, plum sauce, baking spice - nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice - leather, cigar, tobacco, cedar box, anise, and molasses notes on the nose. Spice on the palate with medium, chewy tannins. Vintage 2015. ABV 15%.

Lots of dark tones. Rich but lacking a lasting fruit. Flat finish.

Cheesy wine. Blue cheese and cedar. Good wine for soft cheeses. A little brash.

Dry, firm, complex. You feel like you don’t have enough time to properly taste it. Everyone favorites.

2015. Dry but a bit spicy tannins. Overall delicious
