Nice balance of fruit & earth

Good balance, juicy with red and black fruits with a good chocolate mid palate that carries the wine to a nice finish, good acids. Blackberry, cherry and chocolate notes highlight the nose and the palate.

Firm, dark wine with a supple intensity. Woody and earthy were the first impressions on the nose. Dark fruits such as blackberry and fig come out mid-palate. Tannins still have power in this 2008 vintage. Felt some fruit come out after we aerated the wine for about an hour.

Real intensity, with blackberry, fig and dark chocolate flavors supported by firm, well-integrated tannins. Full-bodied.

I love the fruitiness and long finish

Bordeaux 6 years or older, she recommended. She was right.

Nicely balanced with plenty of fruit and earthiness. Good for a cloudy, cool afternoon.
