Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

Nose: bay leaf, eucalyptus, licorice.
Taste: blackberry, black currant, black plum, over ripe strawberries, chocolate and coffee.

Opens with hi sheen oak, severe vegetal notes and astringent tannins. After hours open, it does manage to stitch together, showing black fruit, and spicy oak, sort of imitating a mountain grown Napa Cabernet.

Fruit driven! Black currant and lots of spice. M+ acid, body and alcohol. M round tannin. Clove and red fruit on the palate.

Let it open for at least an hour or two before enjoying.
