I don’t get to drink it often, but Meursault is my white wine jam. This one is very nice. Nose has oatmeal, wet clay, limestone, a little note of toasty hazelnut, crisp apple skin fruit. Very round and soft and full in the mouth. Deep flavors. Ideally, I’d love a bit more squeeze-o’-lemon acid drive, but it’s a 2020 and this is the age of climate warming. And for a ‘20 the acids are pretty nice. This’ll do just fine tonight.
