Blackberries, raspberries, red plums w bramble, white berries, floral touches and bit of forest floor and a bit of funk. Had pleasant fruit but I wanted a little more acidity. I think it would have benefitted from food.

If you are searching.....this is the wine. Excellent 2012 vintage, balanced acidity and mineral tones. Smooth but bold enough to stand pairing with pulled pork BBQ.

Really liking this. First time I opened it, tasted & smelled alive! Violets, smoke, black licorice. Black lava rocks. Clean & pure Saumur rouge.
