Showing the vintage - lots of Muersaulté. Heavily malolactic notes, borderline to much, loads of concentration. But still with trademark Beru freshness and fruit.

Rubens Chablis. Acids are not sharp and pointy but fat and rounded. Unique mouthfeel. Great wine from an enclosed vineyard near the town of Béru. Grapes are coming from this vineyard since the 13th century. I'm glad Athénaïs stopped banking and started doing this.

While there's nothing offensive about the wine, its bizarrely lacking in Chablisienne typicity. Apparently it's a good vineyard, but they sure didn't channel much of it into this bottle. And it's expensive. Maybe it'll come around with some air. Seems like maybe it's that kind of bottle?
