Structured. Tight on opening but ultimately giving a classic right bank character while never losing the grip of tannin and acidity.

Deep purple color all the way to the rim. Nose of red currant and cigar box. Fine but structured tannin, showing flavors of tart blackberry and smoke. The finish is limestone and a touch of mint.

A nice wine, but it may have been a little past its prime.
