Classic. Textured. Black fruits, Asian spices, lard, and musty leather on the nose. Delicious - earthy/forest floor, truffles, starts with blackberries that become a crisp raspberry as it opens, layers of tar, tobacco, and spice...truly a wonderful experience

Underwhelmed exceedingly high expectations..... Perhaps it was the vintage?! Lacked the concentration or focus of the best versions of this. That said, still beautiful wine, especially w/rack of lamb #firstworldproblems
