D De Dauzac Red Bordeaux Blend

Meh. Clunky and heavy to us. Getting over Bordeaux.

coupage of cabernet sauvignon and merlot from margaux. i still remember the other bottle from this chateau it was far better. the wine is not heavy, rather smooth. 7 years didn’t give it the right amount of rust in colour. primarily black currant and blueberry notes with oak and vanilla. significant acidity. wouldn’t die for it. no coming back. but the other bottle from them (with yellow label) was really good.
