Grand vin de Graves Pessac-Léognan Sauvignon Blanc

Enjoyed this— a nice, solid, strong dark red. No funk. A great standard.

Told it was oxidised, but remarkable caramel, hazlenut flavours and rich texture.

Gulgröna äpplen, hög syra för åldern. Fat och krut in i märgen.

This Couhins-Luton aged considerably better than the 1998 Chevalier I had a few weeks ago. Definitely some sherry in the nose, nuts, almond and mushroom. Velvety, nice acidity, good balance and long finish but I enjoyed it more two years ago.

Way too old.

Crazy town! White 2005 tastes like a funky earthy dirty natural wine. Spunky and delicious.

Whaaaat. Oaked in new barrel. Never ever guessed it's Sauvignon Blanc. More like off dry Riesling. Grrrreat
